Title ten of the Armed Forces US Code says that members of the military do what is asked of them by their  Commander in Chief.  The man next to them is the Prime Minister of  Hungary.  It would be bad show to let the rain fall on the head of a visiting diplomat, and any Marine on Presidential duty is honored to be there.  This is not about the umbrellas, it is about treating visiting dignitaries with honor and respect.  To only have an umbrella over the head of Prime Minister Orban would be a sign of superiority or strength over the visiting PM.  The president did the correct thing in the situation by showing enough respect for his fellow leader and giving them both an equal platform. Y’all need to stop freaking the fuck out over stupid shit like umbrellas. pls. also he didn’t think he even needed the umbrella, thus resulting in this picture of him checking if it was even raining even more aka my favorite picture of him ever: Speaking as the son of a former Army officer, OP’s post is even more disrespectful towards the Marine in the photo - and the US military in general - than it is towards the President. It shows that literally the only part of being in the military OP has respect for is the part that involves killing others and that is not the biggest part of the military by a long shot and is not the part of military service most members joined for. People join the military to serve the nation, and part of that is stuff like this. There is a reason active duty military do not and are not supposed to discuss their opinions of a President during that President’s term. The President is the Commander in Chief regardless of who they actually are. Republican, Democrat, third party, no longer existent party: it does not matter. Being art of the White House guard and the Presidential detail, especially when a foreign dignitary or leader is present, is one of the biggest honors in the military. These items of clothing included sweatpants and a large heavy sweatshirt. I obviously refused to where those because it was 95 degrees and when you are sweating the key to cool down is NOT to put on more clothes. They told me I would have to stay in that room the whole day if it came down to it.       I was able to leave the office when my friend gave me a pair of yoga pants. The man who made me go down to the office brought down several other girls as I was leaving, at this point they didn’t care how long the shorts where they just sent everyone who was wearing a pair down. They warned me that if I put my shorts back on they would right me up.       I put them back on anyway because just walking down the hallway in those yoga pants made me faint, dizzy,and extremely hot. Thats the main issue, it is hot enough for people to pass out in school but to the school system they would rather a girl suffer from a heat stroke then to have a boy become  turned on. My shorts don’t say “COme fuck me in the middle of class” they say,”Its warm out” The sexualizing of innocent students is not okay Risking students health is not okay and tHE LACK OF FEMINISM IN THE SCHOOL SYSTEM WILL NEVER BE OKAY Today was literally horrible I hate our school so much hahaha what the actual fuck OH NO FEMALE HUMAN BEINGS HAVE LOWER LIMBS NOBODY KNEW THIS!!!! He nearly broke down after Jonouchi lost against Marik. He’s shaking like crazy and Yugi retreats to give him some space. Yugi is mega important to Yami. They both love each other deeply. They share the same body. Helped each other make friends and impacted each other in so many ways. When you compare Yami and Yugi at the beginning and the end (more prominent in the manga, but I digress as manga and doma never happened in the same universe), you can see just how much they’ve helped the other grow. And they got on brilliantly while they did it. I personally see it in canon as an epic spiritual bromance and one of, if not, the most powerful of relationships/ bonds in YGO DM (I can’t speak for later than that). But can we not go ‘oh this happened to this character and not that character HAHA’ because if Yami lost one of his friends in the same way, he would react very badly too. They’ve all helped him on his journey and he cares deeply for them, even if Yugi’s bond with him is the strongest. It isn’t a competition. ^^ THIS.

And they got on brilliantly while they did it. I personally see it in canon as an epic spiritual bromance and one of, if not, the most powerful of relationships/ bonds in YGO DM (I can’t speak for later than that).
